The Venetians are to cancel their scheduled South Beach events due to the fans behaviour, according to the company’s general manager.
The Venetias new “sport” at the South Beach hotel, which opened on January 1, was criticised for the way fans were treated on the day of the match.
“Venetians have a responsibility to their guests and to their community to maintain the highest standards of conduct for our guests,” the Venetius said in a statement.
In a statement, the company said it was “working with the local authorities” to deal with the issue.
Venetian spokeswoman Anna Tosti said the company was “deeply concerned” about the “incidents” on the South beach, which she said had been “a part of Venetia culture”.
“We are working closely with the Venets authorities and the local community to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and our guests’ families,” she said.
More to come.
